Flyshot Outfitters is a guided fishing service located in Southwest Montana, we are based in Bozeman, Montana.

We Specialize in guided fishing trips in the surrounding rivers and lakes of Big Sky, Bozeman, Ennis, Livingston and West Yellowstone. We cater each trip around you, if you already have a destination and lodging in mind we’ll pick you up, or we can help suggest a great place to stay in Southwest Montana near one of Montana’s beautiful rivers with a list of great dinning options as well.

We also have a good relationship with other outfitters around Montana, and we are always willing to help if you need advice finding a guide in another area of the state.

Patience is our specialty no matter what the experience level, we love working with all skill levels and one of our passions is teaching the next generation of anglers to fish. Most of our guides have young ones and will work hard to make it a fun day for the whole family with a focus on exploring and learning about the rivers and their ecology.

Let us know if you want to bring the whole family and we can help give you a good understanding of what to expect with young ones on the water and how long of a day works best, of course every family is a little different and we’ll cater the trip to your family’s needs.

David Kern grew up in the surrounding mountains of Gallatin Valley, fishing is a way of life and exploring new water is a daily passion. David lives in Bozeman with his wife, Heather. David enjoys teaching and has a very calm disposition.
