Cancellation Policy

At Flyshot Outfitters, we pride ourselves on working with the hardest-working, most patient, and skilled independent contractor guides in Montana. When you book a trip with us, we immediately block off that guide's calendar, meaning they turn away other potential work for that day.

Our cancellation policy is strictly enforced not to penalize our clients, but to protect the livelihoods of our guides.

Cancellations Outside of 30 Days If you need to cancel or reschedule your trip more than 30 days prior to your scheduled trip date:

  • You are entitled to a full refund of your upfront payment.

  • Processing Fees: If you paid your invoice via credit card, a 4% administrative fee will be deducted from your total refund to cover unrecovered third-party processing fees. If you paid via ACH bank transfer or check, you will receive a 100% refund with no administrative fees deducted.

Cancellations Inside of 30 Days If you cancel your trip within 30 days of your scheduled trip date, for any reason:

  • Your payment is 100% non-refundable. * Because we cannot reliably re-book a professional guide on short notice, Flyshot Outfitters LLC utilizes these funds to fulfill our contract with your scheduled guide. The guide will be paid their full day rate as if the trip had been completed. This ensures our team of independent contractors remains supported despite last-minute changes to your travel plans.

Trip Insurance Because life events, travel delays, and family emergencies happen, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. A comprehensive "Cancel for Any Reason" travel insurance policy is inexpensive and provides the best mechanism to recover your investment if you must cancel within the 30-day non-refundable window.

Weather and Water Conditions Fly fishing is an outdoor pursuit, and trips are not canceled by the client due to weather forecasts. We fish rain or shine. Cancellations or rescheduling due to unsafe weather or dangerous water conditions are made strictly at the discretion of Flyshot Outfitters LLC and your guide.
